All this crap about risking him and Slav being in the wrong is complete cock. He was ill with sickness not injured. FFS slate the man if you want but Slav is doing his best with the sh!t at his disposal. Imagine if he hadn't played him when he could have done and we lost. Get a grip muppets.

Or those three can step the fuck up and prove themselves against the shittest team in the division. They are still playing in front of a decent midfield trio.
This and a few other games should give us a good indicator of what they're all about and how/if they take the chance that injuries to other players has presented them with.
Will be helpful when deciding to keep or bin them off. I think Snodgrass is safe, but the other two are on the cusp.

Noble tenth yellow card. Does this mean he misses next two games?

They are hinting Carroll and Sakho will again be on the bench,so that leaves an attacking three of Feghuly,Calleri and Snodders. Sunderland will only need to score one to pick up three points.

But under normal circumstances, if the Swansea game wasn't so crucial, I'd definitely agree he was brought back too soon.
I think if the situation wasn't so grim prior to Arsenal/Swansea he wouldn't have played in either game.

Maybe- but I very much doubt playing 45 minutes against Arsenal or not would have stopped his hamstring going pop or not against Swansea.

Yep i agree never said it wasn't
just think that rested for Arsenal he goes into Swansea 80% fit rather then 50-60 %

Maybe he should have been rested for Arsenal, but he obviously didn't get injured in that game so I think it was definitely worth risking him for a season defining game.

IMO he was banaged up for both games....nowhere near fully fit for either and it finally gave up on saturday
Should have been rested against Arsenal to be fitter for Swansea
Lucky we won or that decision could have cost us our prem status

But he also played against Swansea so he can't have been hurt much against Arsenal.

Sven - stark reading and a key part of a successful season for teams like us (as per Leicester last year) is keeping injuries down. Let's hope we keep more fit next season!
Ps. Club use the Roding anyway !

If that prick Rudolph hadn't given him a ball to chase that was going off anyway it probably wouldn't have happened.

I'd be more worried if it was this time last week, although I'm not very confident about Saturday against an absolutely pony Sunderland side.

Do you mean Swansea?
Actually I'd say it wasn't a poor decision- it was a calculated risk knowing that if we lost the game we'd probably be fucked. We needed our best players out there.
Antonio could have always refused to play if he didn't think he could/should.
